摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a chain type actuator for actualizing highly accurate and stable linear operation function and easy operation controllability while achieving a lighter weight by improving the rigidity and durability of a forward/backward movement driving chain to be linearly operated. SOLUTION: The chain type actuator 100 comprises the forward/backward movement driving chain 130 to be delivered from a housing body 110 in a forward/backward movable manner in cooperation with a positively/reversely rotatable driving means 120, and a guide shaft 140 for guiding and assisting the forward/backward operation of the forward/backward movement driving chain 130. Chain blocks 131 of the forward/backward movement driving chain 130 have stepped engaging parts 131b opposing each other in a mutually back-to-back manner for engaging each other, and a grooved guide shaft abutting part 131c extending through the stepped engaging parts 131b in the longitudinal direction of the chain.
