A disk brake for a vehicle is provided to omit a supporting beam by supporting two ends of a carrier against each other through a caliper housing provided with a supporting unit. A disk brake for a vehicle comprises a supporting unit(30B) which extends to a lateral side of a carrier(20) such that deformation of the carrier(20) is limited within an elastic deformation range thereof. Guide rods(32) are provided at two sides of a caliper housing(30) so that the carrier(20) is movably installed in the caliper housing(30). A pair of guide units(20A) are provided with guide holes(20B) having a predetermined depth at two sides of the carrier(20) so that the guide rods(32) are movably installed in the carrier(20). The supporting unit(30B) supports side surfaces of the guide units(20A).
