<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an airbag device capable of attaining both of prevention of vibration and noise during vehicle traveling and high stiffness for receiving reaction during airbag deployment. <P>SOLUTION: This airbag device 10 includes an airbag device body 23 having an inflator 20 and an airbag 22 expanding to the side of an occupant by gas discharged from the inflator 20, disposed on a support member 30 and mounted inside a door 3 or a side wall of a vehicle. The support member 30 is installed on the vehicle body side with a pair of bracket members 31, 32 which are provided in the vicinity of both ends and are deformable upon receiving an impact, and fixed on the vehicle body side with a fixing portion 34 between the bracket members 31, 32. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT |
