PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rail inspection truck that automatically and simultaneously acquires the state of installation and the state of contact of a feeder installed integrally with a rail and information on any position on the rail where contact has occurred. SOLUTION: An optical beam projected from a light-emitting device 29 is received by a light-receiving device 30, which outputs an output signal in proportion to the intensity of received light to a sensor module controller 21. Therefore, if a feeder 10 as a light blocking object is present between the light-emitting device 29 and the light-receiving device 30, incident light is intercepted and the position of the feeder 10 in the horizontal direction is identified. In addition, a reflective sensor device 32 radiates light. When this radiated light hits the feeder 10 and is reflected and comes back, that is detected by the reflective sensor device 32 as a received optical beam.
