<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a color filter with excellent contrast and clarity. <P>SOLUTION: The color filter has pixel groups having two or more colors and composed of a plurality of pixels on a substrate, wherein the pixels are separated from one another with deep color separation walls, and is characterized by: having ≥2.2 and ≤10.0 optical density of the deep color separation walls; having the maximum reflectance y (%) of the respective deep color separation walls at 10-45° incident angle satisfying inequality y≤0.03×(x-5)<SP>2</SP>+45 (x is a reflection angle (°)); forming the deep color separation walls by exposing a deep color photosensitive resin composition layer formed on the substrate and subsequently developing it; and subsequently being formed by imparting liquid drops of a colored liquid composition to the pixels. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT |
