CONJUGATES AS THERAPIES FOR CANCERS AND PROSTATE DISEASES

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To develop the new treatment of prostatic cancer, maintaining the potential of chemotherapy without being supplied to various side effects and the disadvantages of the present therapies.

SOLUTION: This therapeutic composition containing a peptide substrate covalently bound to a cell proliferation inhibitor or a cytocidal agent, wherein an enzyme catalyzes the cleavage of the peptide substrate from the cell proliferation inhibitor or the cytocidal agent. The cell proliferation inhibitor or the cytocidal agent may be a polyamine. The analogue of the polyamine may be bound to the peptide at the carboxy terminal of the peptide by the amide bond of the polyamine to a primary amine or secondary amine.
