PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To ensure the running stability in a vehicle, and use a regenerative braking at the maximum even if a distribution of a brake force between front and rear wheels is deviated to a backward distribution and contrary to preferable forward distribution when a power source apparatus is regeneratively operated and the wheels are regeneratively braked in a four-wheel drive vehicle having a center differential. SOLUTION: In the four-wheel drive vehicle having the center differential, the magnitude of the brake force by a regenerative brake means and the magnitude of the brake force by a front wheel brake means or a magnitude ratio of the brake forces by the front wheel brake means and a rear wheel brake means are changed in response to the total brake force by a scheduled control.
