PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a searching system whereby a master unit can immediately search the location of a slave unit without the need for utilizing a public wireless network. SOLUTION: The slave unit 1 provides its own positional information acquired from a slave unit positional information acquisition section 10 to the master unit 2, and the master unit 2 calculates the relative information of the slave unit 1 on the basis of positional information acquired from a master unit positional information acquisition section 20, azimuth information acquired from a master unit azimuth information acquisition section 21, and the positional information of the slave unit 1, so that the master unit 2 immediately searches the location of a party wherein the slave unit 1 is present.
