PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a support stand which is equipped with: a stand body having columns erected on a base part and support a supported body; and a cover which is formed with apertures permitting to insert the columns therein and is arranged to cover the base part, so that the support stand enabling the cover to be replaced, while the stand body supports the supported body, when the cover is damaged or stained. SOLUTION: The cover to cover the base part 30 is dividable into two cover components of a front cover 20a and a rear cover 20b having a part of the periphery of the apertures. While the upper ends of the columns 11, 11 are fastened to the supported body and the lower ends are fastened to the base part 30 by using screws 50, 50,..., the front cover 20a and the rear cover 20b can be divided and removed in the sideward direction of the stand body 10a.
