<p>The invention relates to additions and improvements to a feeding bottle, comprising a plurality of elements which can be added to a standard feeding bottle or integrated during production. The invention consists of an arm with sliding elements at the ends thereof. One of the aforementioned elements is housed in a channel provided along the length of at least part of the outer surface of the body of the bottle, while the other element is housed in a similar fixed channel located on the lower part of the base of the lid, such that the lid is permanently fixed to the body of the bottle to prevent same from being misplaced. In this way, the lid can be placed on and removed from the teat for use by a nursing infant or animal. The invention reduces the possibility of the inside of the lid being contaminated when it is not covering the teat since an additional body is provided in order to receive and secure the lid when it is ot in use, as well as to house a spare teat. In an alternative preferred embodiment, two of the above-mentioned arms are positioned at diametrically-opposing points on the wall of the feeding bottle and the lid for increased stability and security.</p> |
