<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method of converting an industrial waste of a high content of metal iron into a slag and recovering valuable metals as a mat without employment of a special auxiliary material, e.g. iron sulfide, or enhancement of combustion. <P>SOLUTION: The melting disposal method of an industrial waste containing at least metal iron comprises carrying out melting treatment of the industrial waste in a reverberatory furnace type recycle furnace to form a slag and a mat. Metal iron contained in the industrial waste is oxidized with the copper refining slag in the industrial waste to prevent formation of an unmolten residue and thereby make the operation smooth. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT</p> |
