<p>The scraper has a scraper lip (1) with a lip contour, which is formed in a curve shape in a longitudinal section by a surrounding side (3) of the scraper axially in a direction of the side of a space (4) that is to be sealed. The lip contour has a tangential gradient, which is steadily increased, and geometry of a quarter ellipse. The principal axis of the contour and a surface (8) of a machine unit (9) to be scraped encloses an angle between -45 degrees and +45 degrees, where the unit axially moves to and fro relative to the scraper. An independent claim is also included for a scraper arrangement comprising a scraper.</p> |
