The laminar timber element (1) has a cross rib (14) running crosswise to longitudinal direction, which is firmly glued with each longitudinal border (11) within a main glue area (15) and is glued with intermediate longitudinal borders (12) in an auxiliary glue area (16) which is so small that change of the dimensions of the concerned longitudinal borders crosswise to the longitudinal direction are not obstructed due to temperature or humidity variations. An independent claim is also included for a method for manufacturing laminar timber element.
