<p>The invention relates to a window frame to which a roller blind, screen or similar external window cover is mounted. At the vertical frame profiles a separate, longitudinal side guide profile (4a, 4b) is removably mounted wherein the side edges of the roller blind (15) engage. At the top side of the window frame a top box (3) is mounted comprising a shaft (16) onto which the roller blind or similar is wrapped. The side guide profiles (4a, 4b) have along their length a profile (14) engaging into a projection (12) at the window frame. Displacement of the side guide profile (4a, 4b) parallel to itself in all directions perpendicular to its longitudinal direction is obstructed by the projection (12). To disassemble the side guide profile (4a, 4b), the profile (14) can deformation free be removed from the projection (12) by translating or pivoting the side guide profile (4a, 4b) in lengtwise direction or around an axis parallel to its longitudinal direction, respectively.</p> |
