<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a seal material wherein seal action, buffer action, and dimensional tolerance accommodation are allowed. SOLUTION: The seal material 5 is attached between the end edge part of an outer peripheral core 21 constituting a coil case of an ignition coil and a high-voltage tower part 3. The seal material 5, comprising an elastic body, is attached, acting also as a buffer material, between the end edge part of outer peripheral core 21 housed in a cylinder part 2 and the high-voltage tower part 3, comprising a seal protruding part 51 a the top part, a protruding ring 52 in axial direction, and a thin-wall part of a barrel part 53 or a long cylinder part. Thus, being a buffer material effective to expansion/shrinkage, an excessive dimension is allowed to dimensional tolerance in assembly.</p> |
