Pressure yoke for a steering gear

The pressure yoke has a pressure yoke body (1) movable provided in a pressure direction. The pressure yoke body has a rack (4) and opposite face (3). The body has a second, slinging part (5) at an opposite face (6). A tolerance gap (7) is provided between the pressure yoke body and the slinging part. At the pressure yoke body or sliding part, a damping medium rises up into the tolerance gap and arranged from a flexible material. The damping medium is fixed at the pressure yoke body. The damping medium is inserted into a recess of the second face.
