The method for manufacturing floor panels is characterized in that at feast the groove (10, 32) of the coupling parts, including recess (36), is realized by means of a milling process with at least two subsequent milling cycles by means of milling cutters (63-64, 67-68) which are positioned in different angles in respect to the related floor panels (1); and in that said lower lip (23, 43) is form ed such that it extends distally beyond said upper lip (22, 42).
