The present invention refers to a structural system and the application method thereof useful for optimizing structures having elements under stress or compression forces with controlled deformation. The purpose of the present invention is to provide elements under stress or compression forces with a high deformation restriction by the addition of a metallic casing, which due to its performance conditions allows a compression strength to be applied to the system, the compression strength being similar to the material yield strength. The materials resistance principle, which warrantees the induction of the loads to such levels, refers to the minimization by the continuous contact of the metallic section-filler-casing of the system sagging length. The performance process is reduced though to develop a detailed structural study of the project to be done, as well as to carry out a suitable application of the system and the components thereof (duct, metallic sheath, filler and insulation), and finally wait for the seismic, wind or the like action which actuate the system load. |
