An apparatus for testing the endurance of a hydraulic cylinder is provided to reduce repetition endurance test time on the whole by performing a repetition endurance test of several pairs of test cylinders simultaneously. An apparatus for testing the endurance of a hydraulic cylinder includes a test pump(25), a check valve(26), a first drive cylinder(11), a first test cylinder(21), and a drive pump(15). A test pressure fluid of 50MPa from the test pump is supplied to a head unit or a load unit of the first drive cylinder and a head unit or a load unit of the first test cylinder connected to the head unit or the load unit of the first drive cylinder through the check valve. A fluid of 10MPa from the drive pump is supplied to the head unit or the load unit of the first drive cylinder through a direction switching valve. The fluid of the head unit or the load unit of the first test cylinder is discharged to the outside through the direction switching valve.
