A vegetation mat system for greening a cut surface or an inclined surface comprising a vegetation mat containing a rigid grid, plant seed and an environmentally friendly adhesive and a plurality of fixing bars is provided. The method of greening the cut surface or inclined surface using the vegetation mat system, promotes plant growth, prevents the outflow of sediment and improves working properties and execution properties. A vegetation mat system for greening a cut surface or an inclined surface comprises: a panel-type or roll-type vegetation mat containing a rigid grid(50) with a grid net structure, a fixing hole(53) and a connecting clip(52) along the outer line, plant seed(10) and an environmentally friendly adhesive(30); and a plurality of fixing bars(70) installed by passing through the fixing hole of the vegetation mat to fix the vegetation mat to the cut surface or inclined surface. The environmentally friendly adhesive comprises 70 to 80% by weight of sodium carboxymethyl cellulose, 2 to 15% by weight of germination and rooting promoters and the balance to 100% being water. The seed is integrally formed with one or more natural fiber-reinforcing materials selected from the group consisting of Miscanthus sinensis, Phragmites communis, coir, rice straw and pulp. |
