A displaying device for a food storage apparatus and a control method thereof are provided to independently display states of storing chambers through communication between a microcomputer and display controllers of the display parts by mounting manipulation panels to the storing parts respectively. A device for displaying a food storage apparatus includes a microcomputer(200) for controlling loads for a plurality of storing chambers independently and outputting display data to a display part according to each storing chamber state. A plurality of display controllers(215,225,235,245) are connected to the microcomputer by I2C communication for carrying out communication with the microcomputer periodically by the polling method to control operation of each display part(210,220,230,240) mounted in each of the storing chambers.
