An LCD(Liquid Crystal Display) is provided to reduce the distortion of a common voltage, by forming a storage capacitor in a pixel electrode through a horizontal storage electrode line and a vertical storage electrode line, thereby suppressing crosstalk. A gate line(22) and a horizontal storage electrode line(28) in parallel with the gate line are formed on a first insulating substrate. A data line(62) crosses the gate line to form a pixel region. A vertical storage electrode line(64) is substantially extended along the data line. A thin film transistor is connected to the gate line and the data line within the pixel region. A pixel electrode(82) is connected to the thin film transistor. The pixel electrode has a first side in parallel with the gate line and a second side neighboring the first side, wherein the second side is shorter than the first side.
