FIELD: space engineering; ensuring required thermal conditions of spacecraft. ^ SUBSTANCE: at the beginning of flight, test measurements of output characteristics of onboard equipment are conducted over entire range of temperature at area of installation. Accurate measurements are recorded. During flight, present output characteristics of onboard equipment are measured and are compared with the most accurate measurements; discrepancy between taken-off and accurate measurements of output characteristics shall be lesser than the permissible limits. Temperature control procedure is carried out at area of installation of equipment within temperature range recorded beforehand. In case of failure to satisfy this condition, second condition shall be checked; according to this condition, present magnitude of spacecraft internal temperature at the moment of fulfillment of the first condition shall be within range of temperature inside onboard equipment recorded beforehand. In case of failure to satisfy the second condition, new temperature range is determined and recorded for satisfying the second condition. In case of satisfaction of the first condition, temperature control is conducted in area of installation of onboard equipment within new temperature range; in case of failure to satisfy the first condition in conducting the second condition, test measurements are repeated and new temperature ranges are determined for temperature control of onboard equipment. Procedures are continued till completion of flight. ^ EFFECT: increased service life of spacecraft due to increased service life of equipment. ^ 3 dwg |
