The seat (10) has a base (12) connected to a backrest (13) that comprises a central inset (16) with three sides and a peripheral crown (15) which surrounds the central inset on its three sides. The central inset is constituted of deformable material e.g. foam, contained in a fabric cover. The base comprises a frame to which the central inset is connected, and the peripheral crown is mobile with respect to the central inset.
