FIELD: transport engineering; passive safety devices of automobiles. ^ SUBSTANCE: proposed seat belt includes lock, emergency locking retraction device and buckle through which belt strap is passed with possibility of slipping. Locking of seat belt is provided with latches arranged on one axis along forward-backward line which lock the buckle. Side edges of lock diverge to form rectangular funnel. Emergency locking device does not operate at reeling off of belt until lock of seat belt is not fastened. Buckle is provided with handle, protective plate and hinge joint or insert made of easy-to-slip material. Invention provides quick and easy fastening of seat belt by one hand without visual control which is necessary in case of road accident if seat belt has not been fastened in due time. ^ EFFECT: improved convenience in use, facilitated fastening of seat belt before starting the motion. ^ 3 dwg
