An information transmission method in a mobile communication system is provided to be capable of notifying a base station of particular information through preamble transmission when a terminal uses an RACH(Random Access Channel), while the base station can allocate efficient radio resources to the terminal according to the particular information, thus delay time in case of data transmission of the terminal is reduced. Grouping information is received from a base station(20)(S10). A terminal(10) selects one signature and one RACH occasion from the grouping information, and transmits a preamble to the base station(S11,S12). The terminal receives radio resources allocated by the base station based on the preamble(S13). The terminal transmits uplink data to the base station by using the received radio resources(S14).
