<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an organic electroluminescent display preventing efficiently leakage of light by sealing a first substrate and a second substrate by a frit, cutting off flowing in of oxygen and moisture or the like, and by simplifying a process, and its manufacturing method. <P>SOLUTION: The organic electroluminescent display comprises a first substrate including a pixel region in which a plurality of organic light-emitting diodes are provided and a non-pixel region at the surrounding of the pixel region, a second substrate which is arranged at the upper part of the first substrate so as to be overlapped with at least one region of the pixel region and the non-pixel region, and a frit which is formed on the total face of the inner side face of the second substrate. The frit which corresponds to at least one region of the non-pixel region is formed thicker than the frit overlapping with the pixel region, and the first and the second substrate are mutually pasted by the frit at the portion corresponding to the non-pixel region. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT</p> |
