PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a concentration measuring instrument capable of measuring highly precisely a glucose concentration in urine or an urine protein concentration, independent of an amount of measurement inhibition component in the urine. SOLUTION: A rough concentration of the measurement inhibition component in the urine is estimated, based on a transmittance of the urine, using a correlation between the transmittance of the urine and the measurement inhibition component, the urine is diluted at a dilution factor optimum for the amount to remove completely the measurement inhibition component, and to preclude also measuring precision from getting worse by excessive dilution therein, and the glucose concentration can thereby highly precisely be measured.
