JOINING METHOD USING BUTYL RUBBER COMPOSITION

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a joining method exhibiting good adhesiveness and rapidly expressing bond strength after joining when joining members to be joined with a butyl rubber-based material. SOLUTION: The joining method having high bond strength comprises preliminarily applying a solution containing a reducing agent as a primer to the surfaces of the members to be joined and joining members to be joined to each other by using a composition containing a polymerizable vinyl monomer, a polymerization initiator and a butyl rubber as an adhesive.
