<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a radio communication equipment whose electric power consumption can be reduced while restraining increases in cost and in size of the equipment. <P>SOLUTION: In a communication mode, switching elements 41, 42 are allowed to turn on and off, respectively and thereby a signal received by an antenna 2 is amplified by a LNA 3. Then, the signal amplified is allowed to pass a frequency band preset by a mixer 6 and a bandpass filter 7 and to be demodulated by a demodulator. In a signal level measurement mode, the switching elements 41, 42 are allowed to turn off and on, respectively and thereby the signal received by the antenna 2 is measured in level by a signal level measuring section 10 without the use of a LNA 2. Besides, a switching controller 16 is provided which allows a switching element SW1 to turn off to stop electric power supply from a battery 11 to the LNA 3. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT |
