<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming apparatus having a highly convenient simple screen mode. <P>SOLUTION: This image forming apparatus is equipped with an operation/display means 8 for inputting various function items in relation to printing and displaying the various function items and a memory means 5 for storing the various function items, and has the simple screen mode for displaying only a limited function item on the operation/display means 8.
