PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable cleaning of a high cleaning effect with a small amount of cleaning liquid when an ink course of an inkjet printer is cleaned. SOLUTION: The inkjet printer has a main tank which stores either one of ink ejected from an ink head and the cleaning liquid; a flexible sub tank which has a smaller capacity than that of the main tank, holds the ink or cleaning liquid supplied from the main tank and is expansible or contractible according to a change of a total amount of the held ink or cleaning liquid; and the ink head which is arranged relatively movably to a medium and can eject the ink supplied from the sub tank to the medium by an inkjet system. A process of supplying the small amount of cleaning liquid from the main tank to the sub tank after discharging the ink held in the sub tank, and a process of discharging the cleaning liquid to the outside via the ink head by crushing the sub tank are repeated by a plurality of the number of times.
