PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a route guidance device or system for a vehicle, capable of efficiently storing electricity, in a vehicle with a solar battery mounted. SOLUTION: The routing guidance device 1 has a searching means 3 for searching for a route to a destination input by a user and a display means 8 for displaying the route searched by the search means to the user, on the vehicle with the solar battery 2 mounted. The device includes the route search means 3 for finding a plurality of specific candidate routes and an arithmetic means 3 for calculating the production of solar battery power and power consumption of the plurality of specific routes. The device is such that the search means 3 selects an appropriate route from among the plurality of the specific routes, based on comparison between the production and the power consumption.
