PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rolling bearing which can be lubricated by employing lubricating oil without using grease as lubricant, and also can prevent a temperature rise of the lubricating oil by sufficiently stirring the lubricating oil stored in an oil bath inside a pump. SOLUTION: A retainer 5 has eleven impellers 6 (bladelike projections) arranged on both flat faces (end faces) thereof at an equal interval. The impellers 6 (bladelike projections) are arranged at nearly central portions of the circular interval between the respective pockets 5a of the retainer 5 as shown in Fig.3. When the retainer 5 rotates following the rotation of an inner race 3, a large quantity of the lubricating oil existing in the oil bath is splashed into the air by means of the impellers 6 (bladelike projections). Therefore, the lubricating oil existing in the oil bath circulates, and the heat exchange between the lubricating oil and the air can be easily performed.
