PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fluoroplastic coating material excellent in abrasion resistance and adhesion to a substrate as well as in nonstickiness inherent in a fluoroplastic. SOLUTION: The fluoroplastic coating composition contains 0.1 to 9.9 pts.mass, per 100 pts.mass fluoroplastic, metal compound crystal having at least three acicular apexes. It is desirable that the metal compound crystal is a tetrapod-like zinc oxide crystal. Also, the fluoroplastic coating composition may contain an adhesive component so as to be used as a primer.
