THE UNBALANCE CONTROL METHOD FOR A DRUM TYPE WASHING MACHINE

An unbalance control method for a drum type washing machine is provided to reduce times of re-supplying of water to one and to shorten a time for removing unbalance compared to a conventional algorithm. An unbalance control method for a drum type washing machine includes the steps of: performing a final dehydration(S102); determining if unbalance of clothes is removed or not; performing weight detection two times if the unbalance of clothes is not removed; performing weight shift down operation two times; re-supplying water one time; removing the unbalance for six minutes(S104); determining the unbalance of clothes is removed or not after a first unbalance removal process; if the unbalance of clothes is not removed, repeating three more unbalance removal processes for six minutes each after the first unbalance removal process(S106,S109,S111); and displaying error determination if the unbalance of the clothes is not removed through four unbalance removal processes.
