PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a water cleaning agent yielded by processing a fish bone without using chemicals and a high-cost apparatus and in the manner with less energy consumption. SOLUTION: The water cleaning agent is provided in which a fish bone is placed in the container and heated at around 500°C for about 5 hours after drilling a small hole in a tightly-closed metal container, the heated fish bone is immersed in water in which ash produced when burning a shell is dissolved. The carbide of fish bone yielded by this operation has a slight amount of phosphorus eluted in water and adsorption performance for an organic dye and a synthetic detergent component in water, and therefore it can be used as a water cleaning agent.
