PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a production method of a vessel with a heat insulation surface layer which shows an effect of a diversified aesthetic sense, also gives a distinct insulation function by a projected stereo pattern, and can realize a multiple effect such as the aesthetic sense, heat insulation and no burn. SOLUTION: A heat expandable particle powder is added to a liquid adhesive to form a complex paint through agitating and mixing, the complex paint is coated on the surface of a continuous base paper of the determined range or various mold vessels, and thereafter the base paper or the vessel is heated. If a foaming action by the expandable particle occurs on the surface, the liquid adhesive becomes a foaming layer on the surface layer when the adhesive adheres to the surface layer of the vessel. The foaming layer is applied to the surface of the vessel which is formed by cutting a coating range. In the surface layer, the complex paint, to which a pattern model is applied, is loaded with a pigment and the paint, which coats a patterned part, is heated to form the projected colored stereo pattern by foaming action, and thereafter a coloring printing is carried out again.
