PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a preparation process for a vegetable fuel pellet which process can reduce the energy required for its production drastically. SOLUTION: This preparation process for a vegetable fuel pellet has a milling process (Step S1) in which raw-material plant is milled into a predetermined size, a drying process (Step S2) in which the raw-material powder obtained in the milling process is dried up to a predetermined water content, a granulation process (Step S3) in which the dried raw-material powder obtained in the drying process is press-molded into a pellet and simultaneously dried up to a suitable water content for a fuel with a processing heat generated during the molding, and a packing process (Step S4) in which the product obtained in the granulation process is packed in a breathable bag or container.
