PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a dropped object protection net which increases workability and a constructing method thereof. SOLUTION: The dropped object protection net 10 comprises a net unit 20 and a support post 22 for supporting the net unit. The net unit 20 has a sheetlike net 26 for catching dropped objects 16 and a frame body 28 provided along the lower surface of the periphery of the net 26 to support the net 26. The support post 22 has a barlike body 48 of the support post provided along the lower surface of the frame body 28 and a joint part 52 protruded upward in the central part in the width direction on the upper surface of the body 48.
