PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a pharmaceutical composition containing an unelectrifiable azithromycin and to provide a method for producing a composition formulation containing the azithromycin. SOLUTION: The pharmaceutical composition comprises hydrated silicon dioxide, an azithromycin and a pharmacologically acceptable additive and prevents electrification. The prevention of electrification of the azithromycin-containing composition is achieved by adding hydrated silicon dioxide to the composition containing the azithromycin as an active ingredient. Hydrated silicon dioxide may exists on a coating layer or the surface of the formulation such as a granule, more preferably on the surface of granule, etc. The method for producing a formulation of granule composed of a new azithromycin as an active ingredient comprises adding hydrated silicon dioxide to the composition so as to control static electricity and adhesion of a granule. etc., to a subdivision packaging machine.
