PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pachinko machine with a novel structure with an enlarged area on which game balls can flow down in a play area, allowing a player to sufficiently enjoy the attraction of the pachinko game on the enlarged area on which game balls can flow down, and capable of preventing game nails disposed on the enlarged area on which game balls can flow down from easily breaking. SOLUTION: An illumination board 50 is disposed inside a recess 44 formed on a plywood game board 26, and a cover member 58 which transmits the light emitted from a light source 52 on the illumination board 50 is disposed to cover the opening of the recess 44 in such a state as flushed with the front surface 61 of the game board 26. A game nail 42b is hammered and fixed to the bottom 48 of the recess 44 in such a way as inserted into an insertion hole 60 formed on the cover member 58 and into an insertion hole 54 formed on the illumination board 50 to be protruded from the front surface 59 of the cover member 58.
