<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a light source device capable of improving the efficiency of the extraction of a light from a light-emitting element. <P>SOLUTION: The light source device 10 is composed of a substrate 1 with a pair of electrodes 2 and 3, the light-emitting element 4, and a transparent resin 7 sealing the light-emitting element 4; and a white resist layer 6 is formed on the substrate 1. In the light source device 10, the white resist layer 6 is formed by coating parts of the electrodes 2 and 3 while openings are formed to the white resist layer 6 to at least the light-emitting element 4 and a section in the vicinity of the light-emitting element 4 and terminals for the electrode 2 and 3, and a white member 8 controlling the shape of the transparent resin 7 is formed on the white resist layer 6.
