<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To uniformly and precisely control the temperature of the whole of a plate in a biological sample analyzer. <P>SOLUTION: The biological sample analyzer has the plate 2 to which a biological sample is held and rotatably attached, a tray 3 on which the plate 2 is mounted, a temperature control chamber 4 for controlling the temperature in the periphery of the tray 3, a drive means 6 for rotationally driving the tray 3 and a temperature control unit 5 for supplying air of a predetermined temperature to the temperature control chamber 4. The plate 2 and the tray 3 are arranged in the temperature control chamber 4. The temperature control chamber 4 has a shape thick in the vicinity of the temperature control unit 5 that is thin in the peripheral part of the tray 3. The temperature of the whole plate can be precisely controlled, by making the air stream from the temperature control unit 5 parallel to the rotary direction of the plate 2 with respect to the tray 3. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT |
