<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the problem that facts extracted by a system is rather limited, and often missed. <P>SOLUTION: The system 10 for retrieval of text includes a processor 20 which includes an instruction for identifying grammar rules associated with text fragments of a text string selected by a user and an instruction for retrieving additional text strings from a related storage medium which satisfy the grammar rules, a display 30 for displaying retrieved text strings, and a user input device 113 enables a user to select text fragments of the displayed text strings for generating a query.
