PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a communication equipment, communication system and communication method having an appropriate arbitration mechanism even when contention occurs in address initialization or server setting. SOLUTION: A home network system is equipped with a base station 1 and a plurality or echo net devices 2 communicating with one another using Bluetooth. When a certain node transmits a MAC address initialization request, another node which receives this request (including the other node transmitting a MAC address initialization request at that point of time), can not transmit an address initialization request for a predetermined period of time. Thereby, initialization requests to the same MAC address do not cause contention and such a trouble that an address is imparted in duplicate, does not occur any more. Furthermore, each node receiving an address initialization request does not transmit any address initialization response before the time of its own MAC address value×predetermined time T1 elapses from the reception of the request.
