<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve throughput by associating job steps of a plurality of kinds of jobs with one another in simple configuration. <P>SOLUTION: Jobs of copy, print, scan and facsimile transmission integrated into one application are integrally divided into four job steps and in accordance therewith, the group 41 of function modules selectively used for the respective jobs is sorted. Regarding the same job serial number JSNo and page number PNo, an input function module, a create function module, an edit function module, and an output function module are initiated in this order. When processing of the create function module is completed for an n-th page, the edit function module is performed on the n-th page.
