PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain straight coffee where taste characteristics of the original coffee beans can be compositely drawn, or other wise having monotonous taste because of using only one kind of coffee beans. SOLUTION: The straight coffee is obtained by blending one kind of coffee beans which are roasted to at least 3 kinds by differentiating a roast degree and a roasting method. By this process, even the straight coffee using only one kind of coffee beans is well-balanced having deliciousness due to new body taste and complexity of taste in addition to acid taste and bitter taste which beans themselves have. The straight coffee is composed of a relatively deeply roasted part of about 20% and a relatively lightly roasted part and middle roasted part group of about 80%. The relatively lightly roasted part and middle roasted part group is mixed in a range of (1:1) to (1:4) (or 4:1).
