<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an apparatus for detection of biological signals from animal for accurately detecting heart rate without causing trouble for dog's living activities. <P>SOLUTION: The apparatus includes a biological signal detecting means for detecting dog's biological signal, a mounting member to mount the biological signal detecting means on the suitable site for detecting the biological signal from the subject's body, and output means for output the biological signal detected by the biological signal detecting means.
