PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an information providing device for a vehicle for providing information by properly detecting a road whose passage segment has been changed according to the change of a center line and a lane maintenance controller for operating lane maintenance control by properly detecting a road whose passage segment has been changed according to the change of the center line. SOLUTION: This information providing device for a vehicle includes a change information acquiring means for acquiring information relating to the change of a center line, and characterized to provide information based on information relating to the change of the center line acquired by the change information acquiring means.
